DL385 G2 Assembly issues
Has anyone run across the following:
I purchased a dl385g2 407424-001 about 6mos ago. It came with 8 cpu fans and 4 fans by the pci exp slots. The new dl385g2 407424-001 I purchased came with 4 cpu fans and 2 fans by the pci exp cards. In order to get this server to match the other one I need to purchase a new 8 bank cpu fan cage, a new air baffle and a new assembly to accommodate 4 exp card fans. Anyone have any idea why these 2 servers are so different even though they are the same build type?
