DL385 G5p slow disk read/write
I've got a DL385 G5p server. Built with 3 75 GB disks in a Raid 5 (for OS) and 3 1TB disks in Raid 0 (for backup, then copies to tape). I'm getting *extremely* slow backup times when writing from the 3 TB disk to tape, or (in testing) from the 3 TB disk to the system disk. We've eliminated the tape drive as the culprit. Disk read/write times are about 8 GB/hour. Not sure what could be causing this. NOthing jumping out at me in the diagnostics/reports, drivers are up to date.

Re: DL385 G5p slow disk read/write
Hi,
Some of the things that might cause this issue:
1. BBWC not installed or faulty.
2. SAS/SATA Cables damaged.
3. Any Antivirus software that might be working in background while file copying.
These are only few things but there could be others also like RAM and Processor.
Thanks
