DL385 Gen10 Plus v2 Server Thermal Fault, System Board, AUX/Main EFUSE (80h)

There has to be something more going on here. I opened a ticket on a server we have 24hr support on.  Out of the box recieving this error.  Took over a week to get a system board and the new one has the same error.  Now I'm waiting for anothr one.  I can't believe no one has seen this error before.

Thanks, been down that road.   Starting to think it's related to the lom card.  We bought a pair of servers and looking at the one that is running the LOM interface runs way hotter than the rest of the server. Also looking  back at the IML while most of the error messages are from E-FUSE which is in front of the powersupplies one error tripped on sensor 28 which is the LOM card I/O module.

Hello Michael,

I guess the issue here is with the front Power module.

P23972-001 Power Module, 2U

Please check if HPE support can get this replaced.

Thanks,
TAM

I think you're right.  after changing the lom card again they noticed thermal sensor 01-Inlet Ambient isn't reporting.  Looks like that's where the sensor is. Now if only we could get them to send the right part.
