DL385G1 Rebooting to Diagnostics Screen and freezing
Hi All,
We have quite a few DL385s running either Windows 2000 or Windows 2003. Occasionally when we reboot them, after say a Windows hotfix, the server will reboot and then automatically enter the Diagnostics Utility.
We only become aware of this when the ping does not return after a while as we only connect to the servers through iLO.
Once inside the Diagnostic Utility the only way to exit is to reboot the machine using the iLO power function, the keyboard (through ilo) does not respond.
Before we install the latest firmware on all servers can anyone tell me if this is a known bug with a particular version? Or if you had similiar experiences I'd be interested hear also.
Many thanks,

Re: DL385G1 Rebooting to Diagnostics Screen and freezing
hi
when you say update firmware you did it for all components?
I mean System ROM, ilo, nic cards (using firmware CD?)
so you have 1.91 firmware on those servers?
- can you test one server reflashing the ilo using the browser option?
