DL560 Gen11 Maximum RAM Support

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to configure a DL560 Gen11 to have 16TB of memory? as I understand, each processor supports 8 channels and each channel can only be populated wtih 1 DPC 4800 MT/s so it cannot have 16TB and supports maximum of 8TB, kindly please guide me.

Hi,

the DL380 Gen11 is a 4-Socket Server, I think this is the misunderstanding.

So 256GB x 16 Slots = 4TB x 4 CPU = 16TB
