DL560Gen8 + NC552SFP - UMC

Hi all

We have some new DL560Gen8 servers with NC552SFP NICs (Emulex). I've read on some forums that users have Universal Multi-channel working, but I cannot find any place to set this up.

Basically we want to split each port into two virtual NICs - one of 8gbit and one of 2gbit.

You are supposed to be able to enable the function through CTRL+P (PXE boot) setup during boot, but I don't see anything relevant there. I also don't see anything under One Command Manager (we are using Windows Server 2012).

Any ideas?

• you can found on this link that HP NC552SFP 10Gb 2-port Ethernet Server Adapter is not supported under Windows 2012.

• For PXE it must be configured under RBSU

The card seems to be working in 2012 just fine (except for not having this feature).

Also, the adapter *is* supported under WIndows 2012:

The link for Emulex explain that the card can be installed under Windows 2012 but not HP

HP can suppoprt only those OS :
