Re: DL580 G2 Power Supply Swap Question
Hi,
The power supply specifications will be the same for 220Volts and 110Volts. It will auto detect the voltage and will get auto switched.
The part number has to be one of the following:
Part Number278535-001
Spare Kit 192201-B21
192201-001,
406423-001
800W Hot Plug Redundant Power Supply US 278535-001
800W Hot Plug Redundant Power Supply AUST 278535-011
800W Hot Plug Redundant Power Supply EURO 278535-021
800W Hot Plug Redundant Power Supply UK 278535-031
800W Hot Plug Redundant Power Supply JPN2 278535-291
800W Hot Plug Redundant Power Supply -inc IEC 278535-B21
Operational Input Voltage Range (V rms) 90 to 264 Volts
Frequency Range (Nominal) (Hz) 47 to 63 (50/60)
For further information, visit the following link:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11372_div/11372_div.html#Power%20Specifications
Power Supply : Hot plug power supply , Input voltage 110-220VAC, 47/63Hz, 800 watts - Output voltage 12VDC, 5mA
Hence go ahead confidently with swapping the power supplies. Make sure of the server status and load before pulling out any active power supplies. Else turn down the server and swap the power supplies. (If possible)
Cheers,
Anand
