DL580 G3 Power Supply Problem.
Hi, got a fairly new DL580 G3, 4x2.0Ghz server.
When the power cables are plugged in AND the server is off, the lights on the front are all okay, i.e. no problems. When the server is powered up the server is fine still, no problems. So what, I hear you say! Well, when the server is shut down and turned off (with the power cables still plugged in) the lights are still okay. But, when the server is powered up again, the lights display power problems - orange and then the PSU on the Right hand side shuts down, the server runs OK on single PSU. Now, when I shut the server down and pull out both the cables, then plug them back in and power up the server. It's all okay again, UNTIL I shut down the server again! So, in short everytime I want to shut the server down, I have to pull out both power cables before I can power up the server. A HP engineer has changed out both the power supplies and the Motherboard. The power is clean too.
Any ideas?

Re: DL580 G3 Power Supply Problem.
By the way, that should have read DL580 G2, not G3!
Also the system bios is P27

Re: DL580 G3 Power Supply Problem.
Hello Richard,
Have you also noticed that the server spontaniously reboots (like a short power break) when running on the right PSU only ?
