DL580 ILO port flapping
Hi,
I have installed a DL580 G5 and the network guys configuring the switch was saying that the ILO port is flapping. They asked what was the speed of the ILO port, after checking the forums, I found that it was 10/100, as they wanted me to set the speed, I checked in the ILO configuration and could not find anything.
Is there a way of checking the server to see if there is anything wrong with the port.
Thanks and regards
James

Re: DL580 ILO port flapping
Hi James,
Try the following steps to set the link speed of ILO2.
1. Access ILO2 and go to Administration Tab (last tab)
2. Go to Settings -> Network in the left frame
3. In the Right Pane Select Link speed.
Best speed is 100Mb/FD
