I bought a new HP Server DL380 with 8 hard drive(146GB sas)!!I don't know which raid is suitable for this server!!!
Rally I don't have a good knowlege about Rait configuration!!!
Could you help me!!!and give me a perfect documents about Raid!!??

the RAID is a long story, sometimes choosing the right RAID level is different decision, every level has advantages and disadvantages, it depends on the environment . You can find a good and short explanation here -

RAID 1 for OS
RAID 5 for DATA
