Does anyone use a differnet PCI IDE RAID card in a DL320 G2?

As is well known the megaraid IDE on the DL320 G2's has been deprecated since Redhat 9, RHEL 2.1.

Is anyone successfully using another PCI card to get IDE RAID with RHEL 3.1 or 4.0 (we will be using CentOS, a RHEL 4.0 based distribution)?

Can it be done?

l did hear that only 3.3 volt PCI cards are supported.
