Does ML530/570 Power Backplane Use Proprietary PSU connection

Hi:

I need to use some standard ATX PSUs with the 159314-001 Power backplane.

I have been unable to find any info on whether a standard ATX PSU will work. I am of course concerned about damage to all connected components if the wiring does not follow standard ATX 2.x Specification.

Please assist if you can!

Thanks.

Re: Does ML530/570 Power Backplane Use Proprietary PSU connection

Wrong question.
The connector on the power backplane cannot be used with any normal PSU power connector. According to other info found, it cannot be used with anything other than a Compaq PSU, which of course are not being produced any more.

And I'd just like to say that using non-standard connectors, software or anything that has an established standard is a good way to run oneself out of business.
Oh my goodness, they did go out of business; imagine that!!
