Does my server's NIC support " HP Proliant Network Adapter Teaming ( NIC teaming )"
- My Server's Model: HP ML150 G5
- Server's NIC: Embedded HP NC105i PCI Express Gigabit Server Adapter 10/100/1000 WOL
Does my server's NIC support " HP Proliant Network Adapter Teaming " ?
If so, what NIC should i purchase to combine with this NIC for " HP Proliant Network Adapter Teaming " ?
Thank you very much ^_^.

Re: Does my server's NIC support " HP Proliant Network Adapter Teaming ( NIC teaming )"
Embedded HP NC105i PCI Express Gigabit Server Adapter is one port. teaming does not support.
Team compatible ethernet cards
HP NC360T PCI Express Dual Port Gigabit Server Adapter
412648-B21
HP NC364T PCI Express Quad Port Gigabit Server Adapter
435508-B21

Yes, True. :)

no that's not true.
There is no problem teaming two single cards, but they need to be compatible (preferrably same) .
With two dual(/quad) cards you can team ports from different cards
So a dual card (same chip-type) has advantages for teaming over two different adapters
