dos driver for cdrom in ml370

where can i found the .sys driver for the cdrom in the plt ml 370?
I want to boot in dos and access cd?

The DOS drivers for the CDROM are found on the NSSD Diskettes , in the DOS Directory . CPQIDECD.SYS is the driver .

You may also download sp4282.exe from ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp4001-4500 which contains the dos drivers for Compaq IDE CD-ROM drives. You will need to extract the files by running sp4282 on the machine it is downloaded to.

You can use the makedisk.bat batch file to create the driver installation diskette. The installation executable, cpqinst.exe, will install the drivers and make the modifications to the autoexec.bat and config.sys files on the hardrive.
