Drive LEDs non-functional
We have a ML530 which has 6 36gig drives in it. Under normal operation, the drives show a green colored cylinder LED that remains lit all the time. When the drives are accessed (read/write), then a little green arrow LED flashes on/off. Also, when you go into the array manager, there is a green cylinder with a red X LED that shows up, to tell you that you are accessing the drives through the array manager. The Arrow LED is the only one to work, the two cylinder LEDs on all drives do not work. Why are my drive lights not working anymore. FYI... there are no messages in the event log that show me any failure and the diskmanager shows healthy drives/volumes etc. What gives?
TIA... Mitchell
