Dual CPU at different revs Error MSG's

I am getting an error message in my W2K event log (event id 41) telling me the CPU's in this multiprocessor system are not all the same revision level and that performance will be dropped to lowest rev level.

I am assuming this is not a critical error but I would like to know if I can correct the problem or repress the message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not critical, just a little annoyance... The CPUs are probably of different "steps" and it's likely that the lower step CPU is installed as the second CPU. If you reverse them, the system itself may take care of this and the error may not appear. If it still does, it's not critical...
