EH0146FARWD firmware

Hello:

I'm installing an array of HP 2.5 SAS drives into a DL380G7. I have no prior experience with Proliants servers.

The P822 controller tells me I should update the drive firmware to a minimum firmware of HDPA. The URL the controller sends me to http://hp.com/support/proliantstorage  alas has gone to the great 404 in the sky, & Mr. G is not finding a mention.

Any suggestions on where find such an update and installation tool?

Re: EH0146FARWD firmware

Hi

I believe you mean firmware of HPDA and not HDPA,

Individual firmware:

https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_d774bd6ff54e43c6a888db06a1#tab-history

or download the Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) Version G7.1 image and update drive firmware using or all the firmware.

SPP is basically a bundle having all the required firmware and drivers for G7 servers.

Re: EH0146FARWD firmware

Thank both of you for your replies.  Not sure why my searches didn't find the HD links but...

Yes, it is HPDA called for, sorry.

I looked at SPP and it sounds ideal but:

tells me I must be entitled to use that approach. And while my dentist tells me I am now royality since I have been crowned, I don't think that's what HPE means.  So I'll pursue the more focused approachs.
