Email Notification

How can I configure "Email Notification" in my Compaq Proliant Server 5000, Windows NT 4.0 OS. Iam using Lotus notes mail server & client rather than outlook & outlook express.

Please help me.

Hello,

the email notification just requires you to have a good working SMTP (relay agent) available on a server or pc in your network.
In your case i think it's best to check with a forum where their is knowledge on Lotus Notes since the email notification configuration by itself from every node is very simple and works very well, you just need to point to your host providing the SMTP rely service for forwarding your error messages geberated by the server monitor/management agents.

The email notification setup is independent of the email client you are using.
