Environment System Overheating (Temperature Sensor 4, Location Memory, Temperature 127)
Hi,
Our Server DL380 GEn 10 has beed shutdown by iyself due to overheat :
Environment System Overheating (Temperature Sensor 4, Location Memory, Temperature 127)
After we restarted the server, we did not find any HW issue,.
My question is : IS it fake alarm raised by the Sensor 4 or is there any SW bug : System BIOS - U32 v2.80 and Firmware flashed (iLO 5 2.91) ?

Re: Environment System Overheating (Temperature Sensor 4, Location Memory, Temperature 127
Dear Abderrahim
As per your given information, Your server is running on low firmware codes. Please upgrade the server firmware by Gen 10/Gen 10 plus firmware Bunddle pack-SPP or you can upgrade firmware manually for BIOS(U32) and iLO 5. after that reboot the server and check, is there alarm is given for temparature??? check manually what actual value is showing on temprature section for sensor4.
Hope, I could provide you with clear and helpful instructions. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to help!
Have a great day!!
Thanks & Regards...
Rabindra
