Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
I've got a problem with a HP ProLiant dl380 gen 10, it's newly installed windows server 2022. There was a list of missing drivers in the device manager's other devices category, so i tried to update via intelligent provisioning. There were no errors in the update proccess and after. But after i reboot, it wants me to plug in two power supplies, so i did and the amber blinking sign disappeared.
But when i go back to intelligent provisioning, it shows self update and then it says error while loading shared libraries. How do I fix this?

Re: Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
Hello,
You may download and install the "iLO 5 Channel Interface Driver for Microsoft Windows Server 2022" and the "iLO 5 Automatic Server Recovery Driver for Microsoft Windows Server 2022", restarting after each install and check if that helps.
Regards,

Re: Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
Hi, installing these two drivers did not help, did restart after each installation.
Same error when starting intelligent provisioning, same message about system power loss.
Missing drivers in above image..

Re: Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
Hello,
You may install the chipset driver "Identifiers for Intel Xeon Scalable Processors (First and Second Generation) for Microsoft Windows", restart the server after instll and see if it helps.

Re: Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
After mounting the ISO for the service pack with the iLO, the firmware updates all completed successfully.
After a cold reboot, I selected F10 during boot which kicked off another firmare update and reboot.
After rebooting into Intelligent Provisioning, the udev and kernel panic errors screen is displayed, but got a little farther in the boot than the first time (similar to OP's picture).
I have not installed an OS on this server yet, this happened pre-installation while attempting to update firmware

Re: Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
I have the same problem. Brand new DL360, no OS yet, only updating using intelligent provisioning. After one of the updates I can no longer start intelligent provisioning.
I get a black screen with a bunch of errors
Starting udev...
udevadm: error while loading shared libraries: liblz4.so.1 ....
....
EDIT: It's been fixed with Intelligent Provisioning Recovery Media

Re: Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
Abhidutta,
Yes, as I wrote, I fixed it using Intelligent Provisioning Recovery Media, which you can download from HPE Support site.
Just boot from the ISO and follow the recovery procedure.
Regards

Re: Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
Did you try to boot the server from the recovery media and follow the instructions?
I don't remember the exact steps, but it wasn't difficult.

Re: Error after update using hp's intelligent provisioning
My problem is solved. The most logical and fastest solution is,
1. Download SPP iso, prepare a bootable USB and update the firmware.
2. install from intelligent provisioning recovery USB
Thanks
