error message

I have loaded SCO OS 5.0.6 on this new machine using the Smart Start Assisted installation software. The installation went fine, no errors were incurred. However, when I boot the system and it begins multi-user mode, a "notice" message appears which is printed below. I have used the system erase utility to clear the system and have re-preformed the smart start installation. I continue to have the exact same problem even on this second install. The error message is as follows:

notice
ida0: slot1: invalid request on dve 77/0 blk 256
logical unit =0: block=256, size=5, cmd-0xA8, status=0x10
CMD_BLK: addr:C0148288h csize-00000094h

virt addr=0xC0095000 bytes=0x00000400

This error repeat 10 times then stops. Ohterwise, the system seems to perform properly.

Re: error message

You can search the Forum for other reports of this. I have a few servers with
the same problem, all with EFS 5.38 and CIM 4.90, and current patches.
To get around the problem rename /etc/rc2.d/S99cmaida to s99cmaida, and use
/etc/rc2.d/s99cmaida stop. The SMART array controller functionality is lost
from the CIM web interface when you stop the cmaida driver.
