Event ID 4141
I have a problem with my operating system (Windows 2000 Advanced Server) recognizing a second processor. There seems to be nothing wrong with the hardware (everything is green in Insight Manager) but the second processor doesn't seem to run and an event shows up in my eventlog: "The Compaq System Management Driver has detected that only 1 out of the 2 installed processors have been started by the operating system. Please confirm that the license agreement in use supports all of the installed processors. The system will continue to operate." I've seen something on eventid.net about this problem, but the solution provided didn't help... Please help me!
Great!

Re: Event ID 4141
Was this upgraded to dual processors recently or has this always had two? Has the MPS hal been installed?
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: Event ID 4141
I've the same problem with a proliant 6500. It always worked with 2 processors but after a hotfix from NT4 we suddenly had that problem after a restart.
When accessing the bios i don't have the option they suggested on eventid.net

Re: Event ID 4141
Are you running the Uniprocessor Hal or Multiprocessor Hal?
