Event ID 55 NTFS Messages.
We have a Proliant DL320s server with a SA P400. Two arrays setup 1 for C and 1 for D. We are having the below problem. Any suggestions on how to fix. No Drive are showing to be failed.
We are getting EventID 55 NTFS error messages
Description: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume \Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy3.
Description: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume \Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy1.
This Data volume is the drive D. Description: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume Data.
Ran a chkdsk on the D drive and everything passed.
Ran a chkdisk on the C drive and got the below problems.
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.CFL>chkdsk c:
The type of the file system is NTFS.

hello Curt,
why don't you run chkdsk in RW mode? (chkdsk /f c:) ?
if problem persist, check P400 firmware/drivers, maybe disk firmwares...

I was planning on doing this but I have to wait until the weekend and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for fixing it another way.

Hello,
I think similar filesystem error are pretty good reason for acting fast and not wait until weekend... you can get more and more fs errors... :(
