Hi everyone, I have the following problem to enter the RAID controller and Intelligent Provision

of a DL-380 G9 server

I have already updated BIOS P89 v2.80 to P89 2.94, Controller and ilo

I also started from an ISO "via USB" of Intelligent Provision "but it was stuck in Nve" as I recall.

but I could not start and the same errors appeared

Re: Exeption Type 06 - Invalid Opcode Exeption Call ImageBase Imagename+Offser

Hi,

Exception Type 06 - Invalid Opcode Exception

I would recommend to perform hardware Diagnostics via UEFI and Intelligent Provisioning.
Do you see any errors logged in IML of iLO?

If you are having problem launching Intellignet Provisioning, consider reinstalling IP.

Re: Exeption Type 06 - Invalid Opcode Exeption Call ImageBase Imagename+Offser

Dear Mvasquezneira

  1. Power off the server.
  2. Clear NVRAM. (This step is generally required if the POST process hangs at 64% or during "Power and Thermal Calibration" and removing FC cables or HBAs does not help.) For instructions of how to clear NVRAM, consult the "System Maintenance Switch" section (switch 6 - Clear CMOS and RAM) as documented

    https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sf000076014en_us&docLocale=en_US

IMPORTANT: If clearing NVRAM/CMOS does not allow the system to boot, it may require removing the battery from the System board for a short period of time.

  3. Update BIOS firmware, iLO firmware
  4. Step 3 – Install Intelligent Provisioning using the USB Key – This takes approximately 6-8 minutes to complete.

Process Step 1 – Download Intelligent Provisioning ISO Image

Download the firmware ISO image and the USB utility-tool from hpe.com, by performing the following steps:

    1. Click the following link:https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/home
    2. Enter a product name (e.g., “DL380 Gen9”) in the text search field and wait for a list of products to populate. From the products displayed, identify the desired product and click on the Drivers & software icon to the right of the product.
    3. From the Drivers & software dropdown menus on the left side of the page:
      1. Select the Software Type – (e.g. Firmware)
      2. Select the Software Sub Type – (e.g. CD-ROM)
      3. For further filtering if needed – Select the specific Operating System from the Operating Environment.
    4. Select the latest release of HPIP230.2015_0827.81.iso (or later). Note: To ensure the latest version will be downloaded, click on the Revision History tab to check if a new version of the firmware/driver is available.
    5. Click DOWNLOAD to download Part 1 (HPIP230.2015_0827.81.iso or later) and save the file to a folder on the computer.
    6. Extract the content of the zip file to a folder on the computer.
    7. Scroll to the Utility- Tools section and click DOWNLOAD to run the * RECOMMENDED * HP USB Key Utility for Windows (cp015352.exe or later). Follow the screen prompts to install the HP USB Key Utility.

Process Step 2 – Create a bootable USB key and copy the ISO image

Create a bootable USB Key and copy the ISO image, by performing the following steps:

    1. Click Start, Programs, HP System Tools, and select HP USB Key Utility.
    2. Follow the utility prompts and select Create Bootable USB from CD/DVD.
    3. Ensure that the USB key has at least 4 GB storage capacity.
    4. When prompted to Choose the source of the CD/DVD, select Browse for ISO file.
    5. Navigate to the folder with the ISO file extracted from hpiprecovery-1.40-0.zip (or later) in Step 1 – Download IP ISO image (process step 8 above).
    6. Select the USB key and click Next.
    7. The utility will prompt once the USB key is formatted and the ISO image is copied (approximately 5-6 minutes).
    8. The process steps 1-7 can be repeated multiple times to create additional USB keys.

Process Step 3 – Install Intelligent Provisioning Recovery

Install Intelligent Provisioning Recovery, by performing the following steps:

    1. Insert the USB Key and power up the unit.
    2. To boot from the USB key, press F11 and select Option 3: One Time Boot to USB Drive Key.
    3. The system will boot from the USB Key and install IP Recovery.
    4. When the installation is complete, the utility will prompt for the USB Key to be removed.
    5. Reboot the system and press F10 (IP Recovery) to verify IP Recovery launches properly.

Thanks & Regards...
