Expanding Array

I'm expanding a disk array on a Proliant 7000. I added 2 18GB disks. 5 pre-existed with one hot spare, Raid 5. It appears to be taking a very long time, over 3 hours now. The percentage bar goes to about 17-19% and starts over. It has done this at least 3 times now. Is something wrong or is this normal?

Hello Greg,
This is a normal process. Depending upon the hardware and the size of data it takes approx 25 to 30 minutes per gig.
