Fan Failures
I've noticed some postings wrt DL360 Fan Failures. Could someone provide me with the cause and what if anything (other than replacing the fans/power supplies everytime they fail) can be done to resolve this problem?
We have 20 that we ordered in one batch and installed about 6 + months ago and so far about 8 have failed. That's a pretty high failure rate.

Re: Fan Failures
Hello Marjorie,
Unfortunately there is no other solution at the present time other then then replacing the power supply P/N 173828-001. All this happened due to manufacturing defect. Our Enggineering Department is working vigorously to rectify the situation. We appologize for the inconvenience. If you need further assistance please do not hesitate to contact our Tech Support at 1-800-OK-COMPAQ.
