flashing HBA bios
Hi,
I have to install firmware for the HBAs which are on ML570 and run windows 2003 server enterprise edition.
EMC advise I have to download qle2462af1.69risc4.03.01-pkg1.zip from the QLOGIC site and install the firmware.
The read me says I need to boot the server in pure DOS mode. I don't know how to do that as windows 2003 server does not have a DOS mode.
I have tried to use the HP flash utility and when I boot the server using the USB stick, it starts the HP firmware console and I Don't know what to do next.
When I contacted qlogic, they said I have HP HBA's and can't use EMC firmware. here are the detials of the HBA.
HBA Model HPAE312A :
Port 1 WWPN 50-01-43-80-03-B0-98-38 (HBA instance 0) Loop Down
Port 2 WWPN 50-01-43-80-03-B0-98-3A (HBA instance 1) Loop Down
HBA Model HPAE312A :
Port 1 WWPN 50-01-43-80-03-B0-CC-5C (HBA instance 2) Loop Down
Port 2 WWPN 50-01-43-80-03-B0-CC-5E (HBA instance 3) Loop Down
HBA Model HPAE369 :
Port 1 WWPN 50-01-10-A0-00-12-FB-5C (HBA instance 0) Online
Port 2 WWPN 50-01-10-A0-00-12-FB-5E (HBA instance 1) Online
Can anyone please guide me. Thanks
