for all prolaint servers
kindly some one tell me is there any way to collect hardware information for troubleshooting and measuring the level of health at prolaint systems.
it it necessary tht one should installed hp system tools like system management homepage for knowing hardware problems?
any quick way or external source tht we can check and identify by tht tool to be used on specific time checking not to installing it like mp on integrity servers tells the status of each hardware components health and information without dependent on the operating system???

Re: for all prolaint servers
Hello Asim,
die Systems Management Homepage is part of the Insight Agents, which are installed due the installation.
It is important to install the whole stuff, otherwise you can't manage your servers properly.
For server farm management you can use the free HP SIM or any other network management tool, like OpenView or UniCenter.
Take a look at this:

Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Patrick
