Foundation ageny error

Hi

I'm running a proliant 1600 with NT4 server, SP6a and NTSSD 2.22. Since I upgraded the NTSSD i'm getting the following foundation agent error:

Number: 267
'The Compaq Foundation Agents Service Could not start agency "CPQMHOST". There was an error in the code'

I've re-installed the foundation agents but still get the message. Any idea of how to get round this problem.

Go to Network Neighborhood/Properties/Services/SNMP/Properties/Security
Add 127.0.0.1 (loopback adapter) to the list of hosts to "Accept SNMP packets from".
Then go to
Control Panel/Services, stop and start SNMP service and the Compaq Foundation Agent service.

we currently have a population of some dozens of different Proliants updated with stronger SNMP settings. There we have the local IP entered but we encounter the same error. It seems that CPQ must have the 127.0.0.1 IP in the list that it works. Correct ?
