G3 KVM switch usb port not working

G3 KVM switch usb port not working

I've setup a kvm switch (G3 KVM Console Switch) for multiple server with a HP LCD8500 (AF644A) Laptop.

However, the usb port on the KVM switch are not working. When connecting the laptop to the KVM switch through usb to use the mouse and keyboard it's not working but I get a video output (Free popup from the KVM).

I tried to use the laptop with another device (a HP workstation) the mouse and keyboard works properly so I think the issue come from the KVM switch.

I also tried to use the diag port but I get no output.

It's the first time I'm setting up something like that so I might have missed something.

Suggestions are welcome.

Hello,

I've tried to use different devices (screen, mouses and keyboard) but nothing work.

Unfortunately, if I'm not misstaken to reset the switch I need access to the switch OSD but I can't access it without a keyboard.

Is there another way to reset the switch ?
