general interlock fault on 5500
Howdy ,my proliant 5500 suddenly wouldnt start, I opened it up and the General Interlock Fault leds for cpu1,cpu2 en peripheral board are amber.
I didnt do anything with the machine, just turned it off yesterday and it was working fine.
I tried to move the cpu around to no use (2x500 xeon). They are in slot 1 and 2 but do they die
just like that?? When machine is off???
HELP!

Re: general interlock fault on 5500
Hi,
Check the leds against the attached document. (See attachment)
It may be CPU2 which is faulty. Can you try with one CPU only if possible.
