get email when CPU temperature higher than specific theresold
HI ,
i have 2 DL580 (windows 2000) standard HP agents was installed.
I know that we can check the cPU temperature from the HP Management page, is there away to configure the system to send an email when the temperature is higher that certain theresold?
pls advice.

Also see HP tools if there Event utility, I do recall Older COMPAQ tools had something called Event notification utility, it allow you to set email report /alerts

If you have the agents installed, you should be able to go to Start --> HP Management Agents --> Event Notifier Config to set up email destinations. Please note that this will direct ALL events to that email address. If you implement HP SIM ( http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim ) then you could direct events there and have it conditionally send emails for only certain events.
