Getting into iLO from Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
Hi community,
I am trying to setup and configure iLo on this server. I have tried going to System Management Homepage but the credentials I have dont seem to be working, is there a way to reset this? I have checked on Putty and dhcp and dont see any IP, possibly not connected or its down but I should still be able to get to iLo from the OS. I am in the server from a remote site so I dont have access to it physically. Other avenues to get in to manage iLo and verify its network connectivity?
Thanks,
Steven

Re: Getting into iLO from Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
You don't mention what server you are working with. If iLO is using a shared NIC port you cannot access it via a browser from the host system. You can install the HPONCFG utility to access and configure iLO from the host OS

Re: Getting into iLO from Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
Oh sorry, it is a ProLiant DL320e Gen8 v2. The nic ports are not shared.
I've tried using that but I keep getting a .net error which is attached. I've tried reinstalling it but I get the same issue. If I hit continue, the details are blank. Thoughts?
Below are the error details:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Thanks in advance!
