Harddrive detection is wrong
We have 2 Proliant 1600 Servers with both an Smart Array 4200, both have 1 hard drive 18,2 GB. Array detects 17,6, NT diskadminstrator detects 500 GB unpartioned but only 18 GB is available to be formatted. Now I hav 480 GB of unpartioned space. Does anybody know a solution except installing SP6a for NT 4.0 (this is not possible because of a financial progam).

Re: Harddrive detection is wrong
I would update the system BIOS and firmware of array controller. Please contact Technical Support for Hardware related issues at 1-800-ok-compaq
