Hostname problem with ilo-hostname/hpasmcli and RHEL 6.4

I am having a problem where ilo-hostname (actually the hpasmcli set name command) is resetting the name of my RHEL 6.4 server to its original name truncated to 14 characters.  For example:

>hostname myservername.mydomainname

>hostname

myservername.mydomainname

>service ilo-hostnamename start

Starting ilo-hostname   [  OK  ]

>hostname

myservername.m

I am running hp-health-9.31-1572-3.rhel6.x86_64.  Has anyone else seen this problem?  Is there an easy fix?
