Hello,
I would like to know whether HPE G11 and later servers support hot-plug memory replacement under specific conditions—such as when the server is under heavy workload and shutting it down is not an option.
Considering HPE’s enterprise-grade solutions, I find it hard to believe that no mechanism exists for such scenarios.
If there is a way to replace a faulty memory module or upgrade memory in a hot-plug manner, could you please provide the necessary steps and requirements for performing this process safely?
Thank you.

Re: Hot-Plug Memory Replacement in HPE G11 and Later Servers
Hello,
There is no hot-plug memory replacement in HPE Gen11 servers. The server has to be powered off and the power cables removed from the server's power supplies before performing this procedure.
Regards,
