How do I add an IDE drive to an ML350?

I have an ML350 with a RAID 5 SCSI array. I would like to add an IDE drive as a cheap option for storing non-critical data.

When I added the drive, the machine would not boot as it is looking for c drive on the IDE, no the SCSI.

How can I add the new drive and continue to boot from the SCSI?
