How do I configure HP Smart Array SAS Event Notification Service

I have around 100 new HP DL 585, and am wondering how do I setup HP Smart Array SAS Event Notification Service. Is there some sort of white paper that someone can point me to. I've searched and could not come up with anything. I'm have system using both Windows Server 2003 and Linux.
