How do I read the WWN of a Fibre Channel Card on Win2003

We have a BL20p. I want to read the WWN off of the Fibre Channel card and I don't know how.

How do you do that in Windows 2003?

I don't know what kind of FC HBA it is. If I look at devices it says Qlogics QLA2300, but I'm not sure if that's right.

If this were an Emulex I would have something called "elxcfg", but I don't think I have that on this machine.

The only way I know of is to access Qutils by pressing ctrl-Q when prompted during the boot. Wander throught the menus, and you'll find it. It is a Qlogic QLA23xx HBA.

Hello,
QLogic has a managementsoftware for their cards.
I think it is called SANBlade Manager or something like that.

Hi Stuart,

Qlogic has also online utilities available i.e. "SAN Surfer" that you can install online (requires no reboot) and which provides you all info required, very nice utility.

Have a look here for QL2300:
http://www.qlogic.com/support/os_detail.asp?productid=122&osid=25

Not sure if this runs fine on blade servers with OEM QL2300 cards, but you could give it a try.
If this does not work you can check the port on your FC switch where your QL3200 is connected to or check OFF line as already mentioned.
