How to add 2nd E200 controller to ML350 G5?
I need just a few more drives in a system already maxed out with 8 SAS drives in the 2 1/2" cage. I was thinking of adding a few SATA drives to the 5" bays and then just hooking them up to the simplest HP controller I could find. The E200 sounds very compatible, but I can't figure out what cable assembly I would need. It would need to run from the special connector on the E200 card and end in standard SATA cables so I could plug in the drives. Any suggestions?
Later: I found a few references to these cables (389950-001, 389653-B21) -- are these what I'm looking for?
