How to determine Power Supply Part Number through a software
Hi there! There is ProLiant dl360p which needs redundant power energy. Can I using the software to determine which module (part number) is installed?

Re: How to determine Power Supply Part Number through a software
One way to find out the information is to enter the server serial number into the HP Partsurfer page:
http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx
This should show everything that was installed/configured at the time of the server build. The downside to this method is if a server was a CTO (configure to order), this may not have all options being listed, but in your case it will show the Power Supply and it's part number. This may show as many as three part numbers for the same supply. But the one you want is usually ending in a -B21 (123456-B21).
Good Luck,
Louis

Re: How to determine Power Supply Part Number through a software
Keep in mind that you can't mix them, both PS must be same model type.
So you can't install 460W and 750W in same server and also mix platinum and gold type.
