How to Disable On-Board Graphics Card
I'm attempting to install a PNY GeForce 2 64MB PCI 3D graphics card into a DL380 with no luck. My best guess is that the on-board graphics card needs to be disabled to allow the system to recognize the new card. Can anyone tell me how to install a 3rd party graphics card on a DL380?
Symptoms: With new card installed in PCI slot 0 I get no video whatsoever. When I pull the card I get video back to the on-board adapter.
Thanks!

Re: How to Disable On-Board Graphics Card
OK. to disable the system video turn DIP #1 to ON on the System DIP switch. Also, it looks like the PNY video card is not compatible with the motherboard on the compaq. I tried the VisionTek version of the same card and it worked fine. Good luck!
