how to disable onboard video on a compaq proliant 800 server

hi all im new at this wood like to add a new pci video card to my server.pci 64 m video card but dont know how to disable the onbaord video.thanks all.its a compaq prolaint 800 dual 500 server p3

Hi,
Have you tried to put the new PCI card & check whether the display is coming or not?? most of the Serverboard will automatically disable the onboard VGA once you fix a PCI add-on VGA card.
