How to execute ROM Update Utility on ML370 G1?
I have a ML370 g1 with Ultra 3 disks that the SA5300 is calling out for firmware updates. How do I apply the latest firmware updates?
It seems to me that I must use the ROM Update Utility available on Smart Start 6.x but I can't boot this model from that can I? What is the alternative?
Thanks

I believe that you can boot from the first, so just Boot the ML370 from that and then, hopefully, follow the instructions.

Re: How to execute ROM Update Utility on ML370 G1?
I haven't seen a softpaq for disks distributed via HP's site, only from SS5.x and before. The only updates that I have seen lately are Offline Updates.
Reading between the lines, can I boot the first softpaq disk and then use my Offline Update disk? I hope that is more then a dream...
