How to get Part Numbers
I have a task to prepare report which includes all part numbers of servers and it's spare parts (cpu, memory, disk array, HDDs, power supply) for service contract. I've used HPSIM and HP System Management Homepages, which are suppling with servers, but I could get only server P/N (and not for all servers). Is there any way to get other info? WMI scripts?
Thanks for help.
Dmitry

Re: How to get Part Numbers
Don't expect that each battery or cable or fan or something other options will be reported with product# or spare# in any report you can get ...
Sounds some hopeless ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: How to get Part Numbers
Actually we have very big number of server and it's models. And the look service guides is not better option in this case. I've looked utilities for HPUX, they can gather all serials/part numbers of server. No choice for Windows? May be some special software, scripts?
