How to map network interface checking by ethtool with physical NIC port
Hello support team,
As subject title, I want to map network checked by ethtool or ifconfig cmd (eth0, eno3, eno4 ...) to physical NIC port, but I could not find related information for determining correctly without checking by mannually.
Example:
eth0 --> X = physical ID : 1 --> port 1
eno3 --> X = physical ID : 3 --> port 3
Is there any X value can be used as representative of physical NIC port and how to get it?
Thank you for your support.

Re: How to map network interface checking by ethtool with physical NIC port
Hi,
Please check the following non-HPE sites. Try posting this question on some Linux forums.

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/6/html/deployment_guide/s1-ethtool

Thank You!
I work with HPE but opinions expressed here are mine.
