How to reinstall windows 2003
Windows server 2003 refused to start on my server ProLiant ML 350 G4 some months ago due to a problem on the disk. Now I try to format and install the system again. SmartStart formats the disk and ask form windows CD. I only have windows server 2003 on a DVD and when I insert it, SamartStart complains and ask for a 'correct' disk. Do you know what can I do?

Re: How to reinstall windows 2003
You need to match Smartstart setup to your Windows version, R2, standard, 32/64 bit, etc.

Re: How to reinstall windows 2003
If you have a Win2k3 dvd with SP2 built into it, you can likely just use it to boot from and install windows manually.
Afterwards, download and install the PSP for the server/os combo.

Re: How to reinstall windows 2003
The Smart Start CDs are 64 and 32 bits, so be sure you are using the right one
Other thing: check if you are selecting the right OS, check if there could be different options
Install just the OS and then install the PSP 8.6 for your server
