HP autoloader on a ML 530 G2
I just attached a new HP SSL 1016 to a ML 530 G2 and the server doesn't seem to recognize it. I attached it to the on-board external scsi port. I gave the drive scsi id 3 and the loader scsi id 6. The server is running W2K but it doesn't see the drive or the loader.
Any suggestions on what to try?
Thanks

Re: HP autoloader on a ML 530 G2
Hi,
Don't know what type of SCSI is your onboard SCSI.Pls confirm the SCSI Mismatch first and if the SCSI types are compatible then try to search for the drivers.
You can compare the SCSI type by the manual of you Compaq server and the manual of your
SSL 1016.

Hi,
Check the following Link, I think you require an additional HBA or Additional Cable to connect the SSL 1016 to your servers.
