HP BL35p won't exit flash recovery mode
I have a BL35p which was working fine but was powered down using the OS, removed from the blade center, and put back into the blade center and now does not power up and iLO stays in recovery mode. I have used FTP to put ilo192.bin and it responds that the firmware is applied but it remains in recovery mode. Any ideas?

Re: HP BL35p won't exit flash recovery mode
Hi,
did you try to clear NVRAM from the maintenance Switch on the systemboard(position 6 to on)?
You can try to reseat it twice again - slower & faster(I know it sounds funny)...
When you take it out of the enclosure and wait 20-30 secs, while power is completely down, then ilo should be reset and you should have access...

Re: HP BL35p won't exit flash recovery mode
I tried that now. Clearing the NVRAM dip switch on or off, seating the blade with short or long pause, and using FTP to drop the firmware in will not get iLO to exit flash recovery mode.
Is there a way to turn off iLO completely to be able to power the blade when the iLO component is having issues?
