I have a HP DL160 G6 which I am upgrading, and want to switch the 2 unit backplane for the 4 unit backlpane, but it also has the hotswappable Power Supply and Power backplane 515769-001 but the 10 pin plug that is unused, is too short to reach the 4 drive backplane by about 2 inches?
The current 2 drive backplane is on the left, and uses a 4 pin Molex connector.
Do have to trade out the Power supply for a non-pluggable unit? or is there another power supply backplane with a longer 10 pin cord? Or is there a 10 extension cable?
Thanks, it seems like the cable length should be the same, on the power supplies, but its not.

SolutionSolved my own problem, unlike the non-pluggable other PS (Which are in all my boxes) this one has 2ct 10 pin connectors, one long and one short. It was buried in the wire wrap so I didn't see it until I unbunded the mess of wires.
But new question... there is a set of mixed power connectors SATA (4) and 4 pin Molex (2) from this 10 pin connector, but I cannot find a p/n for it. It looks likes works with 2 drive backplane only.
Anyone know the part number if it can be purchased seperately?
